| Installation Example:
Sure Control Systems Inc. created an "in process" PCBased Vision inspection station for full body detail inspection of assembled automobiles. It was comprised of
a variety of tuned lighting sources, multiple Vision camera, and networked PC operator and engineering development workstations. Interfaces to the plant I/O network, the plant Ethernet backbone
and local digital I/O communicated vital information to and from plant MIS, ERP and production scheduling systems.

The system was designed to read the order information for the product on the AGV entering the inspection station. It then inspected for body detail component
presence, model recognition, colour verification, emblem style and location, filler plug presence, trunk vent presence and positional information to verify proper assembly. The system
archives the orders processed and the state of the details inspected. If a failure is detected a local operator is alarmed. A re-test can be initiated to verify that the error was corrected. |
