The corporation origins from 1981. In 1986, operations were transferred to a subsidiary, whose stock was spun off to G&L Beijer's shareholders. In 2000 the
stock was listed on OM Stockholm Exchange's O-list.Apart from parent company Beijer Electronics AB, the Beijer Electronics group comprises wholly-owned
subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany and the USA.
