Opteon Systems for electronic imaging are designed from the ground up to tap the
unrealized potential for cameras, networks, and modern computers to solve real world problems quickly, easily, and with no compromises.
Opteon cameras, and their intelligent peripherals, provide immediate optical,
electrical, and software connection to your application environment. Systems of unsurpassed performance can be deployed across a wide range of industries in a
tenth the time normally required.
Manufacturing Operations
Complete support for distributed work-cell clusters means that clusters of
asynchronous cameras and their dedicated light sources can be grouped around an enterprise and be intimately coupled with high-speed manufacturing machinery.
Imagery and measurements flow seamlessly throughout the enterprise where they can be analyzed locally and/or remotely by algorithms and viewed by operating
personnel. Quick-connect cables and embedded PLCs interface with sophisticated machinery without the need for custom software.
Surveillance
A wide variety of very accurate, monochrome, color, and 3-Chip cameras, which can be
used in any combination in highly scalable networked systems (exceeding 2000 cameras) to provide interactive control of any cameras in the system by multiple
safety personnel. Such systems simultaneously assure real time continuous storage of imagery from all cameras to a variety of high-density digital storage media.
Cameras can be independently controlled in 40 parameters, including pan, tilt, zoom, iris, focus, gain and exposure via password control from authorized nodes
anywhere on an enterprise's intranet. Images and communication between the cameras and the system is over copper and/or fiber Ethernet.
Entertainment
SVGA 3Chip color cameras that deliver 24 frames per second of 32-bit color data to
host computers via USB2 or Ethernet for the collection of very high fidelity entertainment content.
Microscopy
Extremely high-fidelity, 12-bit/color channel, pixel-corrected imagery can be
delivered directly, in real time, to your application via computer-industry standard pathways like USB2 and Ethernet. Telecentric optical interfaces connect the
camera to your demanding optics with no loss of precision. Sophisticated analysis and storage software means that your data can be reduced and stored to disk
without writing a line of code. There are no frame grabbers to degrade your data or frustrate your installation.
